Don't miss this opportunity to see the bluebells in full bloom in this magical 27 acre enclosed woodland!
Our visit also includes a 2 hour workshop on Flowering Plants (KS1)
Experience and observe the natural world through the exploration and identification of common wild flowers and both deciduous and evergreen trees.
The children will look closely at a bluebell or buttercup to identify the different parts and discuss the function of each part. They will compare the structure of a tree to the structure of a flowering plant and use sweep nets to find pollinators. They'll explore pollination, seed formation and seed dispersal. They'll record their observations then finish with a pollinator game.

The streets surrounding the nature reserve are permit only from 9am to 10am and from 2pm to 3pm but there's free on street parking a short walk away on Periwood crescent and paid parking available at Perivale Station a short walk away.
